The EMI Club ("TEC", "we", "our") is a brand owned and operated by Mash Technologies Pvt Ltd, which manages and provides the services available on this website.

TEC is the sole owner of the information collected on our website. We acknowledge and accept that the personal details that you share with us need to be kept in strict confidentiality. We shall use this information only in a manner which would be beneficial to our customers. This policy is applicable to all existing or prospective customers and persons ("User", "Customer") and/or any digital property belonging to TEC. By using our website/application and by availing various products/services from TEC, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy in addition to the terms of use of the mobile application, website and product documents. Information may also be collected with user consent by reading SMS and email regarding billers, EMI reminders, and EMI payment confirmations to identify billers the user interacts with or for facilitating OTP auto-read.

For brevity, the above categories are collectively referred to as "Information" in this Policy. We collect personal information only to the extent necessary to administer our services in the best possible manner and as required under the laws of India.

2. Purpose of Information Collection

We may process contact data, account data, transaction data and/or communication data for managing our relationships and communicating with you (excluding direct marketing), providing support services, and handling complaints.

We may process user and transaction data to research and analyse website/service usage and other business interactions, and to monitor, support, improve, and secure our website, services and business.

We may process user data for creating and maintaining databases, backups, and business records to run our operations effectively in accordance with this policy.

We may process data for security and prevention of fraud or other criminal activity, and where needed for insurance, risk management, professional advice, and legal claims.

We retain all data and information received through this website. If the website faces potential risks, fraud, cheating, misuse, or criminal threats due to provided data, we reserve the right to inform you and take appropriate legal action. We also reserve the right to retain such information (wholly or in part) and report the same to concerned authorities as required by law.

6. Consequences of Default

The EMI Club's policy aims at recovery of dues in the event of default and is not aimed at whimsical deprivation of property offered to you. In case of default in EMI installment payment on the scheduled date, we reserve the right to restrict mobile phone usage, including locking apps until the defaulted EMI installment is paid.

Unlocking applications is additionally charged at INR 399 + GST per default. We assure you we do not have unauthorized access to app data or user information saved on your mobile phone when applications are locked.

7. Amendment of Privacy Policy

TEC may amend/update this Privacy Policy from time to time as required under law. Users are advised to review this page periodically. Any updates become effective immediately after they are posted.
